Facebookは先ほど皆で音楽を聞きながらチャットできる機能をローンチした。
ニュースフィードとチャット窓に追加された“Listen With”ボタンを押すと、友だちをいわばパーソナルなDJに指名できる。クリックすると音楽ストリーミング・サービスのSpotifyあるいはRdioが起動し、指名した友だちが聞いている音楽をいっしょに聞くことができる。他の友だちもこの「グループ・リスニング・ルーム」に参加してチャットに加わることができる。同じ部屋で音楽を聞きながらおしゃべりするのとまったく同じ感覚だ。 via TechCrunch
来ましたね。FriendFeed, Foursquare, Belugaなど流行の兆しが見えたサービスをいち早く取り込むことで有名なFacebookがついにTurntable.fmの機能を組み込んできました。いずれ動画にも対応してくるでしょう。
picotube.tvにとっては驚異どころかチャンスだと思っています。
2012年はブラウザ上で音楽を聴くサービスが熱くなりそうです！
